A picture can say 1000 words, and the images of the terra-cotta soldiers speaks volumes. The msyrty behind them is the real foundation for their beauty. No one knows why there is no history written about them, why they were made, or there purpose for the burial of them. These works of art are truly one of the life greatest mystery. ( ) This is a great detailed but accessible book about the Terracotta Army of Xi'an. I have actually been to Xi'an and seen the warriors in person but this book still taught me a few new things. I love all the details about the emperor's life and also all the acknowledgement of what facts still remain a mystery. The author's note in the back is a great addition to the information of the book. näyttää 3/3 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
