Nikki is one very troubled young woman, and you can really feel for her in this book. There are circumstances that happened to make her this way and you will be surprised as to what they are. Nikki cocoons within herself and dislikes being out in public and near people.
After coming home when her mother asks her to, she meets Eric and her world is turned upside down.
He makes her feel things that she way trying to hide, and never wanted to surface.
Some will view Eric as a monster, a sociopath, but meeting Nikki sees a change in him and brings emotions back to him that he hides behind a mask.
I loved every minute of this book, Courtney has a way of pulling you in to a book and not letting you go.
If you like dark reads, then this is a must read.
