Souvenir de Ballet

A relatively rare volume of priceless photos featuring all the finest and many of the lesser-known ballet dancers of the period between WWI and WWII and the years immediately following WWII. Included are artists from Ballet Theater, Colonel de Basil's Ballet Russe and The Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Many of the photos were originally taken for Dance Magazine and Constantine helped pioneer that magazine's style of performance photo. Brief synopses of the ballets featured are included.
