EncompassedRunner: Netanyahu's book is hefty and well-sourced, and though it's very well-written and fluid, despite all the annotations, it's a book for best suited for those who are serious about Israel. Because of that, I suspect that the same kind of reader drawn to Netanyahu's excellent history of Israel, including the various peace attempts along the way, would also appreciate reading Julius Stone's book, which is equally serious and factual, but which has a narrower focus: the Israel-Palestine conflict from the point of view of international law. In other words, Stone's book while occasionally touching on history, is not really a history book, nor does it get into the theological claims to the land, but focuses on the legality of Israel's claims, negatively rebutting erroneous notions while setting forth the truth positively.… (lisätietoja)
