I had to find out what happened as soon as I could. I didn't like the wacky premise of the book but I did like where it took me. Reflecting back on the relationship made me think a bit about my own and reading about Georgie & Neal's special moments as a couple made me remember what it feels like to fall in love. Rowell is good at writing quirky sweet moments that feel real. Unfortunately there's a lot here that doesn't feel so real (the writing room, her super weird family, the pug dogs) and that detracted from the book for me. It's a good quick read but I'm afraid I'm always hoping for another Eleanor & Park and this isn't quite there.
