At first I was a little put off by the edgy anger of this new strip about a couple of young black boys who are transplanted from the inner city to the suburban neighborhood where there grandfather has moved. But it's grown on me; it's consistently funny, opinionated, and gives a point of view not seen in any other strip I know of, even the few other "black" strips I've seen. Still, I'd like it more if Huey and Riley were a little more multi-dimensional, and not so always the angry young socialist and the wanna-be thug. (
