I enjoyed this book so much. Not only did we get the Charon and Laura love story but insight on the Dragon Kings (another series I love, love, love) but the foretelling of Phelan's story and the possibility of them having found a way to combat the effects of the droughs blood on the Warriors. I liked the action in this one. It was intense, it was nerve wracking and it had a purpose. It told the story of how these two fractions came to know and fight along one another's side.
Would have liked a little more time to learn about Laura's magic and her family. I know why they stole it from her but not how. I have a feeling that is going to be handy knowledge as this series continues.
Can't wait to get to read how the love story between Phelan and Aisley is going to go....and you know there are going to be MAJOR road blocks to their happy ending once he discovers who she really is. ( )

Charon, holds the gold of war Ranmond, has seen too many of the people he cared about die and refuses to act on his actraction to Laura. Laura fled her family and has crushed on Charon since she met him years ago. When the new evil druid attacks Laura everything changes, including the addition of the Dragon Kings to the fight. Aiden seeks a blood doctor to help fight the drough blood and finds his mate as well.
