Everything in Cheryl Fairchild's house remained unchanged, but her father, Ben, had killed himself. She walked through the first floor then thought of the shooting & Stratton, whose actual name turned out to be Grant Burks. The housekeeper, Mary, had started a scrapbook with articles on the recent events. Ben Fairchild found shot to death, ruled suicide by police, & now under investigation by the DEA. The O'Sullivan's & Fairchild's had grown up together, now all their parents were dead. Cheryl's mother had died from cancer, CJ & Curt O'Sullivan's parents had died in a plane crash that Curt thought may have been caused by Cheryl's father, and now she felt Curt was responsible for Grant's death, and in a way their baby's. CJ stopped by because she thought that she was to give Cheryl a ride home from the hospital. Cheryl felt that Curt had started the whole thing, while CJ didn't want her parents murder to be swept under the rug so the drug dealing could continue. Cheryl made it clear that neither CJ or Curt should ever set foot on her property again.
