Wow, what an ending! This book had me sitting completely on the edge of my seat, and even after I've finished, I can't sit still!

Reviews for the third book in a trilogy are always so difficult to write- you want to gush about everything that's happened, but also don't want to give away spoilers.

This book, just as with the first two in the trilogy, is so intense! There is so much adventure, danger and mystery surrounding Seraphina and her Wandering Team. As they dive deeper into the adventure they started in Wander Dust, they come face to face with shocking revelations, and surprises I didn't see coming at all. Bishop and Turner- wow. Bishop surprised me a lot in this book. Turner is a fantastic character- with each book, I like him even more. Sera has become one of my favorite leading-ladies, and I wish I could read more about her. In truth, I wish I could read more about this entire story! The amazing things this Wandering Team is able to do, the things they face, are fantastic.

The trilogy seemed to end quickly for me, but is one I know I'll read many more times. I would recommend this book, and series, to any YA/NA Paranormal Fantasy fan.

*I was given an eCopy of this book, from the author via Girls *Heart* Books Tours, to read in exchange for an honest review.

Review:5 stars

General: As with book 2 this is a continuation and you will find yourself extremely lost if you go out of order…however, you may be able to skip book 2, but why would you want to, it’s an amazing book. This book wraps up the series and I was quite happy with how the author did so- both story wise and technically. Nothing felt like it was tied up in a pretty bow. It felt real and justified.

This book steps up everything – from character emotions, action level and even use of the trio’s powers. I loved that about it, nothing lagged and nothing felt like it wasn’t as powerful as the events in the other book. I will say this one had a slighter darker undertone than the previous two but worked wonderfully to fully connect with the characters and learn just how Sera’s life is to conclude. ( )

Whew. Michelle Warren has done it again, you guys. Picking up not long after Protecting Truth leaves off, we find Sera and her team (Bishop and Sam) once again living dangerously. As she continues to push back against the Society, Sera discovers more about what's "behind the scenes". What she discovers isn't pretty, and her fierce independence (those in authority might call it rebellion) prompts her to join in the covert fight to right the wrongs and end the secretive power of the Society. Wandering to places and times she has no "legitimate business" being, Sera - and her team - realize just how deep the corruption and web of deception go. But even as she fights to end the way of life she and her fellow Wanderers are trapped in, Sera wonders what will happen if she succeeds.

Mixed in all this, there's still a lot of intense emotion from the whole Turner-Bishop fiasco, and the raw grief that broke all our hearts in Protecting Truth is a very present factor. I love this element, even as it made me sad -- it makes Sera seem real, human. She's a pretty gifted and fierce Wanderer (or dun-dun-duh: Watcher, and that's all the spoiler you get, mwuahaha!), and it's easy to forget she's just a teenager. She's still a kid, really, and her heart is warring to be heard. So watching her sort through all the tangled emotions, fighting to discern whether what she feels is truly her heart or merely her Society-programmed destiny? It's good. It adds a lovely dimension to an already incredible story. And of course, Bishop is amazing. Because he always is, even when he's angry and hurting. The characters are incredibly vibrant and integral to making this complex fantasy work, and Michelle has created people who I don't want to forget. ( )
