I confess I skipped over the family-drama bits with Anya and Katya, but it was good to meet Vadim again. Both Nikolai and Henri are gentle men (ha!), and their path to happiness was sweet and sexy and very low-angst. So this is different from my usual fare because angst is my lifeblood. But it was an entertaining read, nonetheless, and I liked that it was set in Toronto because of the familiar references to Tim Horton's, Lakeshore Boulevard and Fairmont Royal York. My benchmark for corporate thrillers/romances is the "Return on Investment" series by the same author. A lovely story of a lonely man with no sense of family other than his military and business buddies who falls in love with the man he is in the process of doing a high powered deal with. It was heartbreaking, passionate, dirty, sad, happy and romantic. I can absolutely recommend this story to any and all M/M romance fans. I'm quite sure I'll read it a third time some day.
