This short children’s book about a boy, a goblin, and the Lady of the Forest will appeal adolescent boys. The book would have been much better if illustrated. ( )

Lovely story about a young boy who has to fight goblins to save his family.
Not amazingly well written, but a nice story, with a nice plot development. The story is built up very well and is a pleasant read. I think it would be a very good read for young children, a bit scary but not too much, and with a fitting, likeable hero. ( )

Thank you so much for awarding me Beyond the Fence at member giveaway! I was immediately captivated and brought back to my youth when reading this short story. The imagination and creativity were fun and I'm recommending this story to my friends and family. ( )

Beyond the Fence is a story about love of family and friends, courage and bravery with just a touch of magic. Avery must decide what is important to him, so he can save his family and friends from what resides beyond the fence.
This is a wonderful story I would recommend for those in the middle school years. ( )
