Not terrible, not great. The werewolf society is interesting, but a little sketchy (in the sense of "not many details"). I do enjoy stories of abuse survivors learning to trust again, and there are some interesting relationships - but the sex is too explicit for my taste (and M/M, which is even less interesting than explicit M/F to me). And after the relationship is established, the Alpha gets extremely dumb and decides that the abuse survivor doesn't need to know what the problems are - which means he is dealing with people (in the pack) who blame him for problems he has no idea about, and his solution (because he hasn't been told) puts him and several others into severe danger. Can you say worst possible choice, by the Alpha? I might be interested in reading other books in this universe, if the author can improve on this story - I'd like to see some of those details filled in. ( )

This one just didn't do it for me. MC dominate wolf was highly inappropriate with MC submissive wolf far too early for my comfort level. Submissive's abuse history was already known too. It was kinda creepy. ( )
