Autobiographical account of Dr Peter Cameron's life-long battle with fundamentalism. He writes about his study of law and theology and his desire to try and change the church from within as a minister. The central part of the book is taken up with the 1993 heresy trial which resulted from his attack on the decision of the General Assembly to ban the ordination of women to the ministry. The author was a minister in the church of Scotland and was principal of St Andrew's College in the University of Sydney.
