This book is about a boy who goes on a quest with three comrades to defeat the evil emperor. They go on a dangerous quest to find all the parts of the mask that will rule the guardians of Avantia. The three kids have guardians too. The main character, Tanner has a fire bird who shoots fire at enemy targets. Castor has a giant cat that fights with its claws. Gwen has a wolf that attacks with its fierce jaws. This book is for people who love adventure and action themed books. People who have big imaginations will probably like this.
I loved this book. I hope that more of this comes out so I can read it more. I loved how the Author put the characteristics so detailed. I felt like I was there and I was Tanner. I love the way how the three characters go through hard times and go to fight for freedom. ( )
