Three for three. I've just finished my third Jill Shalvis book, and I'm going to continue to read her books. Grace and Josh's story is every bit as compelling as the others. People with baggage, trying to move on with their lives, trying to find their place in the world, and somehow finding it together.

Josh is an overworked doctor trying to raise a son on his own and care for his paralized sister. Grace has been looking for work for months and has been taking on odd jobs to earn a living while trying to find a job in her field. Josh and her start sparking when he hires her to walk his demon puppy dog affectionately called 'the Antichrist'. She ends up taking on his son and sister as well as helping taking care of him. Serious and fun moments.

This book has got to be one of my favourites so far of the series. I can relate most to Grace and I feel like I picked this book up last year for a reason. It has given some guidance but also shown me that sometimes you just need to stand back and look at things in order to see them clearly.
The amazing Dr. Scott once again appears but now you see more of why Josh acts the way that he acts, I mean dealing with two jobs - full-time healer and full-time caregiver, who is looking out for him. He's deals with both his young son and his sister and still manages to find time to hang out with his friends and give the required attention to his patients.
We also got to see some amazing characters that we haven't seen in a couple books including: Sheriff Sawyer Thompson, Ford Walker, Jax Cullen, and Chloe Traeger and of course Lucille and her posse.
All in all an amazing book. ( )

Dr. Josh... what a busy guy!!! Shalvis did a great job making me feel how crazy his life was. Grace was a strong match for him and I just loved this story!!! Some wonderful laughs, good tension and great chemistry! This series is great! ( )

Jill Shalvis has a great comedic talent. I laughed so hard the first 3 chapters. This was the last of this trilogy but a big WHOOP that there will be more Lucky Harbor books to come.

Grace was the new girl in town when this trilogy started. Through the other two books we saw her form a friendship with Mallory and Amy. She was on the run from her old life and not having a lot of luck getting a job in her field of expertise. Through a misdialed number the hunky Dr Josh Scott accidentally gets her and is in dire need of a dog walker. Grace needing the money accepts and once she gets to his house chaos and hilarity ensue (I am laughing all over again just thinking about it)

Josh does not have and easy life. Right after his residency he found himself a single father along with being the caretaker of his paralyzed sister after an accident that kills their parents and disables her. Five years later he is overworked, and most of his time is devoted to his father's practice and his time in the ER. At heart Josh is a selfless man. His sole goal is to help other and never thinks of himself but in turn he doesn't understand and is over protective of his 21 year old sister and has lost a bit of control over his son as the only words he speaks are "wuf" like the dog.

When Grace comes into the household with her also being a caretaker she cant help but to try and step in and fix things. Her and Josh both struggle for a bit with their attraction to each other but that doesn't last long.

The wonderful cast of older characters in the town of Lucky Harbor once they catch wind of these two are relentless again at trying to push them together.

Another funny and heartfelt addition to the Lucky Harbor series. ( )
