I liked this book. I really did. I can't tell you anything in particular that I disliked about it; however, I felt a little bit let down at the end of the series. I don't know in particular what it was. I loved the characters. I was OK with how things ending even if it wasn't particularly what I wanted. I just felt like I wanted a little more from the series ender. I do recommend this series. I thought it was very creative and I loved the dragons. I've gotta find some more good dragon stories.

Kändes lite utdragen.
Och, jag tyckte hon valde fel kille. Varför fanns ens det där triangeldramat, eh?
Det känns som att de hade kunnat göra mer av Wills krafter, det känns potentiellt inte helt slut i historien. ( )

**WARNING** the spoiler's in this review are spoilers for a reason. I know that in some reviews, ppl put spoilers on there that you can open and not have anything be given away, but this IS NOT LIKE THAT.
You have been warned. If you open the spoilers and the joy of the book is stolen from you, it's not my fault.

Point 1: In this book, we learn both of Jace's parents's first names. Magnus and Zara. Call me crazy, but Magnus sounds like a warlock (and not just cuz of TMI) and Zara sounds like something out of The Lion King

Point 2: Deghan!!!!! Omg, I just knew what was going to happen between him and Tamra

Point 3: So, in this book, we've finally gotten to the point where Will and JAce can run away and be together and be alone. But guess what? it doesn't happen that way.

Point 4: I figured out the tracking devices things as soon as Lia said "They're going to put a small, shiny metal thing in your head." I fugured it out AS SOON AS IT WAS MENTIONED. My God, it took everyone else so long to figure that out!
Was it obvious the moment it was mentioned to anyone else?

Point 5: towards the beginning-end, keep in mind that there's still far too much of the book for what happened to be true. and, for future reference, tranquilizing a draki who is part of a bonded pair makes the other draki think he's dead. In other words, don't do that.

Point 6: I know the ending was happy, but it left me feeling kind of there was something missing inside. I'm not sure, but I think the combination of Miram's death and Cassian's departure left some frayed ends, for me. ( )

Miram,in Vanished, was captured by the Enkors after failing to listen to Jacinda--Jacinda, Cassian, Will, and Tamra, have banded together in an attempt to rescue her before she is tortured and experimented on, even though Miram could have escaped had she listened to and trusted Jacinda.

Jacinda, Will and Tamra had planned to leave the pride once and forall and never look back. Cassian wants to rescue his Sister Miram, but he's principally along because he's bonded to Jacinda and they can feel each others emotions and know what the other is feeling and thinking. Plus, Jacinda feels responsible for allowing Miram to fall into the hands of the Enkros without putting up much of a fight.

Jacinda has grown as a character from the first novel. She's know seems to understand that she has responsibility to others, and she just can't run away when things get rough for her. While she would like nothing more then escape with Will and Tamra and run off to find her mother, who was banished. She has a responsibility to her Pride.
One of newer dragons, Deghan or the gray one, ends up becoming part of the solution to rescue Miram and later, in saving Jacinda from Cassian's cousin Corbin and the hunters who find the prides hideout.

Hidden, the final novel in the Firelight series does a good job or wrapping things up nicely .
Hidden reveals several interesting surprises that I didn't see coming. I've come to want to see more offerings from the characters I've come to know over three books. Yet the ending will also leave you to wonder about what the future holds in store for Jacinda, Cassian, Will, and Tamra as they each step into the future, some with others hold onto.

I have to say that I was hoping that Jacinda would find her father, hook up with her mother, and expose the person most responsible for what happened to their father and Miram. Lets just say that enjoyed the love triangle in this book and was happy with how the book turned out.

Nope, nope, nope. I tried to like it, I really did! The plot line in Firelight was SO good, but it went downhill from there! I think Jordan tried to squeeze out as much juice as she possibly could from this novel, but this was definitely not a good closure for Firelight.
It was such a bright idea! DRAGONS! Who writes romance about dragons?! It was new, impressive and so well thought! That was, of course, until Hidden came out. So many things came out wrong about this book. Characterization was missing, as well as solving of problems. I expected lots more from this! ( )
