"They call me Woolly" is about how animal's name can foreshadow information about them. They show an African Alligator and how you can gather from his name that he is from Africa. Polar Bears come from where it is cold hence the Polar part of their name. Barn Owls live in Barns and the name gives that away. I never really gave much thought to the meaning behind animals names but this is a cute way to show children that. I would definitely like this book to read to my future classroom. ( )
