This book is about a rabbit getting into a garden and eating all of the vegetables in the garden. This book is told from the perspective of the person who made and tended to the garden. When reading this book the author uses a rhyme in telling the story.

I like this book because it shows children the different fruits and vegetables that can be grown in a garden, for example in the book you see the garden has carrots, peas, lettuce and strawberries. Another reason I like this book is that even though the rabbit eats all of the things that are grown in the garden the narrator says that next time they know to grow more for the rabbit and for themselves. This shows children to be kind to animals because they don’t know that they are doing something wrong.

This is a good book for the reason that it shows children you can grow all types of different things in a garden. I also like this book because it shows children that even though animals do things that are wrong, that they might not know any better. ( )
