The two characters being forced together in this volume were just as fascinating in their own way as the others. I mean a phoenix shifter? Never heard of one before. Add a sprite who knows what he wants, a jealous rival and the sparks will fly. The relationship grew nicely, from utter distrust and distance to one of mutual trust and support.
A light, entertaining read, once you manage to suspend your disbelief around the forced mating idea.
