This book is in poetic form, that tells of different dogs and what they think about themselves. I enjoyed the way the author wrote across the pages. ( )

This is a fun collection of free verse poetry written from the perspectives of the dogs. Each page is a poem told from another dog. I could see using this book to teach 2nd graders how to write free verse poetry and also teach the elements of free verse poetry. We could talk a lot about how the words move on the page and why they are so artistic. ( )
