When Jack and Annie got back from their adventure in Magic Tree House Merlin Mission #17: A Crazy Day with Cobras, they had lots of questions. The book tracks the facts behind the fictional story. I liked this book for several reasons. First I liked the writing in the book because of the way captions are presented on various pages through out the book. The captions have little heads that make it seem someone is talking to you on the page and the captions are either did you know facts or just talking about what is going on in a picture. For example on page 49 it is talking about Rattlesnakes and the caption says, "Rattlesnakes can strike over a foot away in a fraction of a second." I also liked the illustrations. there was a vary between photographs and drawings in the book and I thought that was a nice mix up. For example on pages 80 and 91 there is a drawn map and a representation of the different Crocodilians live around the world. But on page 83 it shoes pictures of the habitats these animals live in. The big idea of this book is to have an understanding what different types of snakes there are and other reptiles. näyttää 2/2 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
