An illustrated book suitable for children between 7 and 15 years of age which describes Asperger syndrome from the point of view of a young boy with AS. The character describes what AS is, what it feels like to have the syndrome, and how others can help children with AS by understanding their differences and appreciating their talents.

Ugh. This book was printed in Comic Sans. It has useful dialog suggestions for a child with ASD on how to talk about his/her diagnosis with friends, but it was quite cheesy. It is also quite British.

I highly recommend this book: for yourself (as a parent), for your newly-diagnosed child, and for friends and family who are just learning about Asperger's Syndrome. Told simply and clearly from the point of view of the child with Asperger's, it makes the quirks of an Aspie immediately recognizable. Recognition and knowledge are the keys to understanding. I share this book with all important people who come in contact with my son. (
