This time he has a visitor, who won't let go of his hand. The visitor brought along her dog, Hankie, and they've taken over Emma's spot next to George on the couch. Emma hurries off to the library to write to her favorite canine columnist for advice. But this may be one problem that even "Dear Queenie" can't solve. Drawn in comic-book style, this story is just right for children who are adjusting to a new member of the family. 1st & 2nd graders (especially those not yet confident enough to move from picture books to chapter books) will get a kick out of this story of a dog, Emma, worried her human George is in danger of being kidnapped by another human, Loretta. However, when Emma begins following the advice of Queenie, canine columnist, she only causes trouble! A funny story that addresses the anxiety and jealousy triggered by adding new members to a family. näyttää 4/4 ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
