This book and all it's cheese! I did skip ahead and read the last chapter so I would know how it ended. So.... Celest's increasing worry about Brandon was beyond annoying. Everything was centered about werewolves and Celeste's relationship with Brandon which could have been good if Celeste wasn't so bleh. I'm really sad I didn't like this one because wolves/werewolves are my thing. Marking as DNF. I can read child/young writing when I'm expecting it, such as when I read a Goosebumps or children's story, but this is written too simply for my tastes as a YA. It's a very young YA, I guess, and I'm just not interested. Besides the simple writing style, everything is told to the reader instead of shown, and there doesn't seem to be genuine personality with the characters, more of stereotypes. I'm not that into the plot summary, either, so it's best if me and this book part ways. Popular seventeen-year-old Celeste finds herself falling in love with a boy from the wrong side of their small, Midwestern town, even though she suspects that he is a werewolf. ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu

If you are a fan of paranormal romances, you will like this book. If you liked Vampire Kisses but wanted something a bit more mature, read this one. Oh, and prepare for werewolves instead of vampires.
I have issues with the eBook version I read. Evidently each chapter starts with a picture—which takes up to 60 clicks on my Kindle to get through. I could see just a section of it at a time. I had to be dedicated to reading the book in order to get through it. An ordinary kid would bail out.
*Ordered for the HS library; arriving for the fall 2011 term.
