The book is about a dog that walks by a priare dog hole and drops his tennis ball. The priare dogs freak out, but eventually begin to pluck the fuzz and do creative things with it. There is one mean priare dog that yells at the rest for doing so, but when they all fall asleep he steals the fuzz. In the end, the mean priare dog gets picked up by an eagle and the rest of the priare dogs save him. I believe this book would be good to use to show students to work together and be nice to each other. The priare dogs that helped the mean priare dogs loooked past his meanness and still helped him. I believe this is a valuable lessons for students to learn. "The Great Fuzz Frenzy" is a fictional picture book with the main characters of Big Bark, Pip and a Prairie dog community. In this book a dog drops its tennis ball down into a Prairie dog hole and the Prairie dogs explore the new object, all take some and end up fighting over the fuzz because there is not enough to go around. As a consequence of the greed of Big Bark he gets swooped up by an Eagle and the community has to work together to catch him out of the air to save him. I would recommend this book for grades 1st through 3rd. I would use this book in my classroom because it teaches lessons of how to explore a new object using your senses such as touch, smell and observe. It also, teaches the lesson of why sharing is important. ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
