Regular venue for Writers With Drinks, an award-winning literary event that has run monthly since 2001 in San Francisco, California. It is a spoken-word variety show hosted by Charlie Jane Anders, who MCs and introduces readers from different genres, including literary fiction, poetry, stand-up comedy, erotica, science fiction and fantasy, blogging, reporting, memoir, and non-fiction.
$5-$10 sliding scale, no-one turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds benefit the Center for Sex and Culture and other nonprofits.
Held on the second Saturday of each month at The Make-Out Room, 3225 22nd Street, San Francisco, CA, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
