- The family business which was established by Robert and Helen Muir in 1973 continues to operate in Northbridge (Perth) Western Australia managed by Janet and Rob Muir.
Janet has managed the business since 1987. Having worked with her late father-in-law and mother-in-law (Robert and Helen Muir) for over 30 years as a valuer and researcher in early Australian history with interest in original manuscripts, documents, diaries, and art. Rob has worked as a sound engineer for nearly three decades spending time in the shop when required, and in 2007 following his father's death, he joined the business full-time.
The bookshop is now located in a restored horse stable built in the 1890's, it houses over 60,000 books, artworks, maps, globes, scientific instruments and interesting objects
Operating hours are:
Monday through Friday 10:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday 11:00am - 3:00pm - Added By
