Keohane's bookshop

Unfortunately, Keohane's bookshop has closed in 2011, apparently due to the recession. They were for nearly 65 years in business and, at the time of the closure, they were the oldest and, in my opinion, the best book store in Sligo. This is a huge loss as book stores with excellent collections are becoming more and more rare.

A very good selection of books, including an assortment of coffee-table art and reference works, and an admirable collection of local history.
I'm especially enamoured of the "We Don't Know" classification in between the Non-Fiction and Fiction sections!
Also a selection of rare-ish/second-hand books at the rear.
Really helpful staff as well.
