All Christian narrative is fantastic. Seldom have I elsewhere encountered poetry more alluring than in the Bible part 2 and in books of catechism.

The novels of Charles Williams are worth looking into as well.

Machen would be my pick.

If I see "Christian Fantasy" I first think of young earth creationism. ;-)

Seriously though, I would certainly include C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

George MacDonald deserves mention. But who are those clowns in #1?

I understand that the conservative Christian author, Russell Kirk, wrote very effective stories of supernatural horror. Check out Ancestral Shadows: An Anthology Of Ghostly Tales.

Have to point out that there have been quite a few spam attacks with similar themes Christian fantasy/christian children's fantasy etc. popping up for months now. they all plug the same authors, the person who started the thread never puts any interesting points in their starting post, and then never posts again. For this reason I have flagged the first comment.

Also if you look on craigdressler's page he has only four books in his library. All Christian fantasy and interestingly all by someone called Craig Dressler. Hmm....
