I got The Russian Dreambook of Color and Flight from Gwen as well. I've also gotten Fireworks over Toccoa, The Opposite of Me, and Black Hills which are all ARCs. Other review books have been I'll Have Who She's Having, Live It, Love It, Earn It, and Pieces of Happily Ever After, plus a finished copy of O, Juliet, to go with the ARC I got previously.

Fireworks Over Toccoa in Michigan yesterday. Looks super-good, but I have no record of requesting this one. Anyone know where it came from??

5: I too received a finished copy of O, Juliet to go with the ARC I received a while back. Now I need to get around to reading the book!

I received The House of Tomorrow this afternoon. It was shipped via Fed Ex. According to the note, I won this copy "through the folks at Shelf Awareness".
It looks like a pretty good read... plus, winning stuff is always fun. :)

I got the same thing today too, PirateColey. I'm excited, it is an Amy Einhorn book and so far that imprint seems to be awesome.
Also, like ThePam said, Fireworks Over Toccoa is probably through Shelf Awareness as well, that's how I got it.

I have a question, its dealing with Shelf Awarness, i dont subscribe to the newsletter, i check the previous issues page on their website, and click on the newsletter by date. usually, i see that there is new ads offering arcs and galleys at the beginning of the week like monday, and then on tuesday the newsletter has the same ads. on wed, its the same ads. are there new ads everyday, or every other day? just wanted to know. thanks in advance. also why when subscribing to the newsletter, do they ask for your address, and business or company? whats the reason for it.

With SA, sometimes they show an add only once, other time the same add shows up for days or even weeks. The longer you wait to request a book, the less likely you are to receive it, though.
Technically, SA is a newsletter for the publishing industry. It's not really written for your average reader. We're a little different because we're reviewers. If they ask for your business, simply state "online reviewer", or put the address of your blog.
Hope that helps.

In similar news I received a finished copy of Paris Under Water yesterday via the MiB. They ran out of ARCs really quickly on this title, but the gentleman I e-mailed put my name aside so that he could send me a finished copy. I'm SO excited about this book!!!

Got the follow-up book to Nathan Abercrombie, Accidental Zombie... Dead Guy Spy.
Came out of nowhere, I assume because I reviewed the Lubar's first book.

I received Making Toast in my mailbox today.
Ever since I moved books have been pouring in. It cements my feeling that the previous neighbors were stealing packages from my mailbox.
