I may have read this one the very end of December... but it's close enough, right?

And we'll throw in a kid's book I just finished 'Ring of Fire' (Century, book 1) by P.D. Baccalario

I'm sure there were others, but these are a few that are currently standing out.

My two favorite were Cutting for Stone and The Walking People. After that, it gets harder to decide. I'd probably choose Sweeping Up Glass and Gifts of War as third & fourth.
Lots are tied for fifth: The Last Bridge, Into the Beautiful North, Baking Cakes in Kigali, First Comes Love, Then Comes Maleria.
For mystery fans Sworn to Silence was good & for science fiction fans The Angel Maker was also pretty good. I love books! I just can't pick five!
