I recently published English translations of "Satan's Children"; "De Profundis"; and "Androgyne" as hard cover pocket books available only at Lulu press. Here is a link to "Satan's Children" for those interested. This is the first English translation of this book. I plan to translate all five of the Pentateuche.

Does anyone know if the English translation of "Homo Sapiens" was censored? I have heard that it was and if it was am considering doing an uncensored translation. . . I've recently become very interested in this author and now have the time and energy to do something about it.

If it was censored (or bowdlerized), it wasn't done so sufficiently, since Knopf was forced to suppress the book after obscenity charges in the US.
Censored or not, in my opinion, the Thomas Seltzer translation is very dated, and the work could certainly benefit from a contemporary translation.

>3 vaniamk13: Thanks, I have just been very impressed with the recent books or stories I have translated and when I read Homo Sapiens years ago it seemed a bit flat and boring to me for some reason. . . I've already decided that "Feuer auf den Gletschern" by Paul Busson needs to be translated because the original book is 412 pages and the existing English translation which I enjoyed very much only has around 300 pages! I need to find out what the difference is! I'm thinking that might be a project for this fall. . .

Requiem Aeternam is now available as a hard cover and epub from Lulu.com

Requiem Aeternam is one of the five books of the Pentateuch by Stanislaw Przybyszewski and shows some of the occult and spiritual thinking of the author. This small book gives his thoughts on the role that sex and sexuality play in both life and death. Przybyszewski was one of two major influences on Hanns Heinz Ewers and Ewers drew on the writings of Przybyszewski in giving his religion of Satan lectures. This is a new English language translation by Joe Bandel.
