Let's answer the questions posed by our administrator: What would you say is the greatest Canadian novel?
As for me, I don't know. Maybe it is yet to be written! We do have an embarrassment of choice, in my opinion. Rather than try to pick one, I will note that 2 of my top 3 favourite novels of all time are Canadian: Not Wanted on the Voyage by Timothy Findley and Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald.

My favorite by a Canadian author is a short story The Painted Door
by Sinclair Ross I read it many moons ago, the ending has stayed with me since then. I believe it has also been made into a movie.
