Fiction, pre-2015, baby kidnapping book, couple new home

I am trying so hard to find a book I’m sure written pre 2016- so it’s about a family who move into a new home and their new baby gets kidnapped and they never find it but the mum dreams about a torture chamber everyday Whwre the baby is but she can never find it eventually the husband dies and the mum moves away but then a new woman moves in and finds a cellar and thats where the baby ends up being. Husband was also in an affair - got thrown down the stairs by the wife/possibly killed himself. Woman keeps saying she sees man in her garden
