I cannot edit my profile - changes do not stick (I could in the past)

Hello,
please excuse my contacting you, but I am trying to edit my profile and I cannot make the changes stick.
I press save after I am done editing (there is only one save button, isn´t there?) and it takes me back to the top of my profile. But when I leave the editing window and check all the changes are gone. The latest changes are not shown in the version window, either. What do I do wrong? Thanks for any help!

Oh, I tried it both with the chrome browser and with firefox, both on MS Windows.

So post in bug collectors. For what it's worth I just made a change to my profile, and the 'test' is there.
