I’m rather annoyed with the Christie book. I have two of the three stories in EP releases already and the third they’ve never released separately. I’d have ordered Poirot Investigates already had they sold it separately.
Hard pass on all anthologies…individual books, please.

>2 treereader: Perhaps Operation Chastise for you ;)?

>3 EPsonNY:
The juxtaposition of a company that often has no clue how to execute marketing (e.g., bimodal email distribution (zero or too many, nothing in between), little to no descriptions of products on website, little to know product knowledge on support calls, etc...) and a company that knows some rather dirty sales tricks like the one above is comically baffling.
Yes, Operation Chastise: Damn!

>4 treereader: I have been affected by the bimodal email distribution myself. I used to be bombarded by emails, oftentimes several a day. After few months of not ordering anything, they ceased arriving altogether...
In regards to "little to no descriptions of products on website, little to know product knowledge on support calls," you would think that information necessary to facilitate the aforementioned would be gathered during product development by product managers etc. and later effortlessly disseminated to the web department and customer service alike.
On the other hand, the actual photographs showcasing their products do require some extra effort...
Companies make their products all over the world and manage to put all information together prior to product launch/release. Here CT location cannot facilitate information from TN, which may be symptomatic of poor/antiquated management approach. Hopefully, Easton Press won't follow Bed, Bath & Beyond down the bankruptcy road with BB&B founders admitting they "missed the boat on the internet."
