book/title missing from author page

Good day. Been spending some time trying to figure out why a book (link - https://www.librarything.com/work/1700401/book/186886229) by author Alexander de Rouville is not appearing on the author page (link - https://www.librarything.com/author/rouvillealexanderde). Would someone mind taking a look and perhaps provide some guidance how I can fix this?

The work is listed as being by Thomas à Kempis and is found on that author page. Alexander de Rouville is listed as a secondary author, and it is also found on that author page, but in the 'also by' section.

I wonder how I missed that? Thank you! How did you figure that out, if you don't mind me asking?

The first place to check is in the Book Information box. First you see all the information for your entry, but the bottom line gives the work information.

The second important place to look is the Other authors section of the main work page.

It appears that this is a collection of writings from the works of Thomas à Kempis, so having him as primary author seems right. There have been various editions, with various editors since 1948, but I haven't been able to confirm who edited it then, so having the various editors listed as secondary authors and for some editions seems about right, too.

Ah, no, found better information. I think we should move de Rouville to main author of all, as he seems to have been the original compiler in the 18th century. Subsequent editors would remain secondary and some if people want to confirm them. Done that.

Any 'other author' or main author that is not the work primary author you have on your entry will only be applied to the work if it is confirmed in the Other author section of the main work page.

Thanks again for your help with this, and for the explanation, much appreciated. I'm still learning and get confused between a 'book' and a 'work', but I know in time this will begin to make more sense to me. Will take a look at the areas you mentioned to help my understanding of this. Thank you!
