Create new review flag: "Reviewer seems to think they're on GoodReads"

I can use it to flag any review with that Goodreads link code (e.g., b:Speaker for the Dead|7967|Speaker for the Dead (Ender's Saga, #2)|Orson Scott Card||2327777) or any review where the reviewer mentions they can't give half-stars, or any other thing that makes it clear they wrote the review on GR and copied it to LT verbatim.

The flag doesn't even have to do anything, really, I just want the satisfaction of clicking it.

Some of us migrated here and it's taking... years to clean up our libraries :p

That was my inference.

You see something similar on reviews that are cut-and-pasted from the person's Amazon review.

So why would we want to single out people escaping Goodreads or make people feel unwelcome when they had not had a chance (or wish to) fix their links/references?

That's a no from me.

I review on here and Goodreads, and I love that I can insert simple book links on Goodreads reviews. I frequently forget to clean up my reviews when I copy/paste them over here onto LT. Too bad touchstones don't work in reviews.

I was being tongue-in-cheek here; I do not think this is an actual flag that LT should implement. That GR link code is nasty, though!

>7 lemontwist: Yeah, touchstones in reviews would be great.

Maybe Goodreads links could be automatically converted to touchstones. Two improvements in one.

>1 Stevil2001: How do you give half-stars here?

huhtikuu 21, 6:50 am

Click on the the star once for a full star
Click it a second time to make it a half.
Click it a third time to clear it.

>11 gilroy: Thank you. How do people discover things like that?

huhtikuu 21, 7:16 am

Try clicking on the Help in the top right corner when you're on an Edit Book page.

>13 Aquila: I've long thought there should be a help page to tell you how to find the help page with the help you are actually looking for.

huhtikuu 21, 11:59 am

I'm pretty sure I discovered it by accidentally rating a book and then trying to figure out how to un-rate it.
