Vote #3: We're looking at size A5 for the notebooks (5.8 x 8.3” / 148.5 x 210 mm).
Äänestys: Is A5 a good notebook size? (And if not, what do you prefer?)
Äänet tällä hetkellä: Kyllä 48, Ei 1, Epävarma 2

Sorry, really bungled vote #2 up. Fixed now. :)

It doesn't specify the most important thing: are they spiral bound? :) Haven't bought anything else for decades

Äänet tällä hetkellä: Kyllä 14, Ei 25, Epävarma 11

>8 2wonderY: Define heavy? Probably not hardcover, for the notebooks we're thinking of. More like a soft layflat cover of good quality.

>9 kristilabrie: My notebooks are extremely sturdy 2cm card.

What page count(s) are you looking at? And paper weight? And for either lined or dot grid, the spacing of said markings?

Good luck finding something that will please all some of your cantankerous opinionated set in their ways members!

Nice idea, but I've been a Circa user for a very long time and just have what I need. Cool idea for the stationery junkies though. Who doesn't love a clean, new notebook?

We're looking at a soft cover layflat style of notebook, 144 pages (70 lb. / 100 gsm premium, recycled paper), with smyth-sewn library-quality binding. I don't know where the paper was produced. :)

So, a soft cover layflat style of notebook, 144 pages (70 lb. / 100 gsm premium, recycled paper, made from MrAndrew's old cotton clothes), with smyth-sewn library-quality binding.
I don't like the direction this is heading.

>4 kristilabrie: Depends on use. A5 is slightly to big to carry around in my purse, but fine for use on my table / desk.
