It seems like the number of books per member on author and series pages is stuck and not getting updated at the moment.
Example from my library:
Benedict Jacka - shows 11, should be 12.
Alex Verus - shows 11, should be 12.
The 12th book was added to my library about 6 hours ago. It usually does not take that long - I see the numbers updated as soon as I add a book.
So either the numbers are not getting calculated or something else is going on with my library.

Check back tomorrow to see if it's up to 12? Maybe it's taking longer than usual, if it's not up by tomorrow we should take a closer look.
ETA: sorry, thought this post was from today not yesterday.

Actually, I'm seeing 12 counted for you on Jacka's author page, under the Top members (works) section. Is that where you're looking?

>3 kristilabrie: Yes, they updated overnight.
So are these updated with a cron job? Or was that a temporary glitch yesterday? I am pretty sure these were getting updated as they were added at some point (but not sure when I last actually checked).
I have another of his to add today so will see if it updates immediately or not (I kept it out last night so the bug survives as is)

PS: Added the 13th. Numbers stay as they are. So there is definitely a delay. If by design, we can close the bug - although I will be interested to know how long the delay is.

My test (logged in as me, kristilabrie):
1. Go to https://www.librarything.com/work/20101532 and use the quick "Add" button to add it to my library
2. Go to https://www.librarything.com/catalog/kristilabrie?&deepsearch=brodsky and see that I now have 4 works by Jordanna Max Brodsky
3. Go to the author page: https://www.librarything.com/author/brodskyjordannamax and search the "Top members" section for my username. There are 4 works counted, correctly.
4. Go to the series page for Olympus Bound: https://www.librarything.com/nseries/26594/Olympus-Bound and search the "Top Members" section for my username. Only 2 of the 3 works I have are counted.

Fixed. Thanks.
Detail: The data is indeed cached. Fetching it for all the members every time would slow down the page. However, the page knows how many books you have at present, so it can change your number on the list—or give you a number, if you're at or above the lowest shown—if you are logged in. Other members won't see your number change until the data itself changes. It runs every day.
