Have some fun writing a creative sentence, working in the title and geographic setting of your current read.
Example: I am in Glasgow, Scotland becoming familiar with life in the tenements by getting to know Shuggie Bain.

Raphael Zehnder takes me to Wiedikon with Müller und die Tote in der Limmath. This is a district of Zurich (Switzerland) where I worked for eight years. Until my retirement two years ago.
Since that time, I have never returned. For the first time I feel something like melancholy.

I'm in a small sailboat (it has been represented to me as a "yacht" and I packed my best yachting togs), somewhere in the Baltic or the Northern Sea, looking for ducks to shoot, or so I thought ... but it turns out to be The Riddle of the Sands rather than a pleasure trip.

I've gone on a real geographical trip in the last 60 days. I started out on the Western Front Finding the Lost Battalion. After I finished this it occurred to me I hadn't revisited some of the later events of that time so I pulled out A Stillness Heard Round the World and reread all of the details concerning the days just before and just after November 11, 1918. Plowing through that book brought back the memory of the events in German East Africa so that meant a re-read of Guerilla and Lettow-Vorbeck's efforts against the British in Africa. Finished that re-read and am now working to find my way In the Forest of No Joy - a very grim account of the construction of the Congo-Ocean Railroad.
