Bought a new release, despite the fact I'm trying not to add many books to my home: The Librarian of Burned Books by Brianna Labuskes. Historical fiction set in Europe during WWII.

Friday and Saturday I picked up Legends and Lattes and Lockwood & Co. The Whispering Skull. Since I said if I buy physical books (as opposed to Kindle) and due to lack of space that meant I had to part with a few from my shelves but it is a necessary evil.

I picked up The Perfect Crimes of Marian Hayes by Cat Sebastian today at the bookshop a few doors down from my office along with I Am A Capybara by Michela Fabbri for my son's girlfriend. I'll probably give it to her for Easter.

I picked up Fascism: A Warning by Madeleine Albright and The Maidens by Alex Michaelides from the FOL sale. $3 smackeroos.

>4 Jenson_AKA_DL: Thank you for letting me know about the existence of this book! I need this for my husband - capybaras are his spirit animals! He loves all rodents, but capybaras especially. This book will make the perfect gift! :D

Holy moly! As I was about to leave the bookstore for today, I checked to see if there were any new ARCs.
I grabbed In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune (fantasy, pub date 4/23), tucked it very quickly in my tote bag, and ran for the exit. :-) I feel lucky. And guilty. And lucky.
Stopped reading on p73 because I'm not loving it. Handing it off to another bookseller today.

A new coffee/bookshop open in my town. I felt compelled to buy Unsent Love Letters An Anthology Of Words Left Unspoken curated and edited by R. Clift.
