Reading Dates

I have only discovered recently that I could log my reading on LibraryThing which I would much rather do than help Amazon marketing through GoodReads. But the very first time I tried to use this facility every time I tried to input my reading dates they were altered to different random dates. I have just revisited the entry to see that there is a settings button that I could use to set my preferred method of date format but this too doesn't work. Is this a discontinued, unmaintained feature? Was I getting excited about nothing?

Use a browser and not the app to set the dates - there is a known bug with the reading dates when using the app.

The dates work just fine from the site itself though :)

I cannot add or change date started or finshed in the browser. No save button, only "save changes" which is the date format. This is when I double-click on either date field.
