We had 17 nominations, at least 11 selectors, and 7 nominators (a new high?). The cutoff as at net 8 votes, with Fritz Leiber's "The Sadness of the Executioner" going on deck as an automatic Winter nomination from the tie with "The Walker in the Night." The highest vote was a tie between Bradbury and Gautier at a unanimous 11.

Thanks all who nominated/voted, and also to paradoxosalpha for tabulating and announcing. A lot of heavy hitters this time around, and an intriguing lineup from top to bottom.

Thanks, as ever, to paradoxosalpha for keeping the wheels turning.

And cheering to see the number of nominations and nominators up.

I made a real error in this list, by omitting "The Child That Went with the Fairies" by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu (1870), which got 11 votes. It was my own late nomination, and I seem to have just left it off the bottom when I was totting up. I'll include it for winter. Sorry!
