Aside from the forlorn hope that the price of this would be a bit less, this is an easy "yes" for me (though it will have to wait its turn on my wish list).

At the Mountains of Madness is generally considered to be Lovecraft's masterpiece, and David Palumbo is a wonderful artist. Here's some very cool artwork he did for a signed & numbered limited edition from another publisher (that's also well worth getting): https://www.midworldpress.com/store/p/those-across-the-river

I guess they couldn't be bothered to put the author's name on the spine of the book. The illustrator gets all the credit for this work, eh?

That isn’t uncommon in this series for some reason. Even Jules Verne doesn’t get credit on the spine for 20,000 Leagues.

It also jives with their marketing emails - it seems like most of them never mention the author (and some never even mention the title!) in the text description. Only a zoom-in on the spine can clue you in.

The focus of the series is to showcase the artists and their illustrations, most of whom have been well chosen. Sometimes, though, they fail to acknowledge the author/translator at all even inside the book as with “The Arabian Nights” that I’m reading now.

Mine arrived today. Although neither the story nor the art are among my favorites, both are pretty good and definitely constitute a worthy addition to the series. I’m sure it will be a must-have for true Lovecraft aficionados.
