Posts should be good-natured.
Making fun of a fandom or trope is one (allowable) thing. Making fun of fans or someone else's trauma is another (possibly not allowable thing).
Because, really, it makes no sense for teens to have access to a non-business computer with internet access when you have no way to talk about whatever you want with (potential) friends through it.
Still, no matter how that conversation goes, LibraryThing is not an appropriate website for public shitposts.
Multiple groups for completely random posts is also against the terms of service. Please don't waste the official LibraryThing team's time by trying to create groups against the TOS.
You already have more leeway in this group than elsewhere on this site.
I know it's frustrating that LibraryThing is one of the few legitimate places allowed on computers with overly restrictive filters, but one of the reasons it is allowed is because of what this site is for. It's primarily for books.
Book cataloging. Book lists. Book discussions. Book reviews. Book swaps.
LibraryThing is not supposed to be where people go to make fun of others. It isn't a site for planning illegal activities (that have nothing to do with books or libraries, anyway) like what's shown up lately. It's not—
There might be a better compromise.
I'm going to talk with a member of the LT team about creating a new group.
like get rid of the whole manga and anime addicts group?
Post a description or title when you post a link so people know what's supposed to come up.
>16 Peter-file: Your post would have been hidden if you had created a direct link (meanig someone could click on to go the site). I need to copy that admin note into the pinned "PLEASE READ" thread, because it's currently buried.
