Just received an email from EP which had this new version of Gatsby. It has new illustrations, is signed by the artist and is numbered to 1200
Design is similar to the Fitzgerald set 👍

It appears to be a new entry in the signed-by-the-illustrator series, except that it lacks the usual reproduction of an illustration on the slipcase.

Has anyone else noticed that Gatsby’s hair is parted on the left in the portrait on the signature page, but on the right in the frontispiece?
My copy arrived today and the art is indeed beautiful. Gatsby looks more like Redford (1974 movie) than DiCaprio (2013 movie).

Jroger1 - When you have time, would you please give us a personal review of this book?
One of my favorites and am seriously considering.

If you have any other books in this series, it’s just like them. I’m not an expert on paper, but it has a pleasant feel and look. The leather also feels good to the touch, and I also like the cover design. The printing, though not letterpress, looks superb to me. The illustrations are attached at the top to a heavy stock and protected by tissue. Some members have wondered whether the glue might come loose or bleed through, but neither has happened on any of my books.
The art, always subjective, is very pleasing to my eyes. I have almost all the books in this series, and it is interesting to compare the artistic styles. I like most of them and really, really like a few. Try comparing the art in Gatsby to the newly announced Interview With a Vampire — they couldn’t be more different than that!
