Upon finishing this edition (1975) I'm disappointed in the printing quality of the book. I noted 10 typos in the text, e.g. Marja for Marfa, policy for police, severed for served. On page 390 the word "face" is hyphenated at the end of a line fa - ce! There are numerous specks of ink throughout, like ground pepper flakes, and many incompletely inked letters. Yes, the binding is nice, but between the covers it's a sloppy job. I have only three Eastons, as leather doesn't appeal to me very much, but based on reputation, and the publisher's claim in the introduction that "...this volume is a rare example of fine bookmaking." I expected better quality.

Most probably this is a reprint of another edition -- with all imperfections.
