Its here! release date today!

It's not on any local theatre's schedule or "coming soon" though. I've been checking regularly. I made my husband listen to the audiobook on our last road trip, and hooked him - he's been working through the Pratchett audiobooks ever since. We both really want to see it!

Im in Phx, and we have two tickets to see it on Sunday. I wonder if they are opening at selected theaters (tho Phx isn't usually one of them)

Well, I'm in Canada, and last time I checked it said no theatres in Canada were showing it :(
I'll keep checking, though!

Saw the movie and its tons of fun. Hugh Laurie , Himesh Patal and Emilia Clark are great in their roles. Its been forever since I read the book but the film sticks to it as far as I can remember.

Late to the party, is this streaming in the US? To Google!

Yes! great fun!

It was a fun time, although I felt it fell more on the inspired by side than the based on side of things. Digging out my copy to compare to the book.

I was rather disappointed. For me it was too far removed from the novel, content-wise, but also visually, including Maurice not looking like a former street cat at all. It's all rather cutesy.
