1> The only Bronte sister I haven't read.

I have some books on hold waiting for Friday's paycheck. I also bought one this month so far: The Rule of Laws: A 4,000-Year Quest To Order the World by Fernanda Pirie.

And brought home 2 ARCs:
* The Agathas by Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson (pub 5/22; young adult contemporary mystery -- for fans of girl sleuths)
* Lines of Courage by Jennifer A. Nielsen (pub 3/22; juvenile historical fiction set during WWI)

>2 ReneeMarie: For me, too, Renee. Have read Jane Eyre and Agnes Grey by her sisters.
Quite many people recommended this book to me, so when I came across this beautiful edition, it was an instant buy...

An overactive month so far.

One ARC: The Messy Lives of Book People by Phaedra Patrick (pub 6/22; contemporary fiction)

Bought four books:
* Bluebird by Genevieve Graham (historical fiction)
* Origin: A Genetic History of the Americas by Jennifer Raff
* When Blood Lies by C.S. Harris (latest in an historical mystery series I buy in hardcover)
* The Whole Body Reset: Your Weight-Loss Plan for a Flat Belly, Optimum Health, and a Body You'll Love - At Midlife and Beyond by Stephen Perrine

And two "guided journals" from Chartwell Books:
* _3001 Questions All About Me_
* _This Is Me: 1001 Questions To Learn More About Yourself_

I bought a book yesterday. The cover got me: The Kew Gardens Girls at War by Posy Lovell. It's WWII historical fiction. Apparently there's a previous book called The Kew Gardens Girls, which is set WWI.

I also have a book on order & another one waiting for the ordered book or Friday's paycheck.

And just bought the two books I alluded to in my last post:
* Plot Whisperer Book of Writing Prompts: Easy Exercises To Get You Writing by Martha Alderson
* The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood (total impulse buy: he created the TV show "Death in Paradise" & this book sounds a bit like the two Richard Osman books I loved - The Thursday Murder Club and The Man Who Died Twice)
